Creating a Cool4School Assignment

Steps to help create an assignment for a Cool4School activity to your students

Use the steps in this template to copy and paste, using the parts of the steps as you wish to your own assignment platform.

Each can be used via email, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams or other platforms that your school use to set assignments to pupils.

STEP 1
HOW STUDENTS LOG IN AND RETURN TO YOUR ASSIGNMENT

Children must login at cool4school.org.uk and then return to the teachers assignment notes.

Username : An email address for students supplied by Cool4Scool to the teacher
Password : A password for students supplied by Cool4Scool to the teacher

Where else could you hear reverb?
Answer: In a tunnel, or concrete room with a high ceiling. A room with stone walls. 
  • Try playing your instrument in the bathroom. 
  • If you do not have an instrument, find a house item like a glass and use a pencil to tap it. 
  • Try adding water to a few glasses so you get different notes. 
  • Make up a rhythm and tune. 
  • Explore using your own textures in the song. 
  • Use different types of instruments for the sounds in the song.

Write Your Own Picture Book:
Even young elementary students have plenty of creativity and stories to tell.
By stapling together pieces of blank paper, this activity for elementary students shows students how to make and illustrate their own “mini-books.”

Imagine the desk is your ship and the floor is the ocean.
Create a pulley to lift your treasure out of the ocean and onto your ship.
